COVID-19
We have missed all all of our patients so much and look forward to seeing you in our office as soon as possible. We will be reopening our office as of Monday, May 11, 2020 following the guidelines from the ADA, CDA and CDC. As always, in order to protect you, we will be exercising the highest standard of infection control and using the recommended PPE’s. Below, however, are just some of the changes we have made in our office for your added protection:
In Our Waiting Room
- All patients entering our practice will be asked to wear state-mandated face masks.
- Practicing social distancing.
- Screening all patients for Covid-19.
- Checking temperatures on all staff and patients.
- Allowing a maximum of 3 people in our waiting area at a time.
- Disinfecting all waiting room surfaces.
- HEPA H-13 Air Purifier is always running for your safety.
- Removal of all magazines.
In Our Patient Treatment Rooms
Doctors and staff will be:
- Washing hands thoroughly and applying an alcohol-based compound between each patient.
- Wearing N95 masks while treating patients.
- Continuing to wear single-use gloves.
- Wearing full length gowns and face shields.
- All patients will be asked to pre-rinse with an antimicrobial mouthwash.
- Reserving more time per appointment for proper infection control.
- Continuing to sterilize our instruments after each use in an autoclave (a high-pressure steam oven) to kill every known infectious organism, including coronavirus.
- Continuing to wipe down all dental equipment after each patient visit with a medical-grade disinfectant that kills all known infectious diseases, including coronavirus.
- HEPA H-13 Air Purifier is always running for your safety.
At Our Front Check Out Desk
- Hand sanitizer for all patients before and after appointments.
- Wearing a mask and Social Distancing requested when leaving.
- Temporary plexiglass shields.
Today, I had my 1st dental exam and cleaning since Covid. The office and staff were spectacular. The safety procedures are superb.

We love and value each of you, but for now, handshakes and hugs must be replaced with an “elbow bump!”
